Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. Thanks to its flexibility, impact resistance, easy processing and toughness at low temperatures, it is used in foams, shoe soles, films, hot melt adhesives, wire and cable and industrial parts.
Two numbers define how each EVA grade behaves:
VA is given as a percentage by weight and MFI in g/10 min. Values and uses are taken from the producer's technical data sheet (TDS); each grade can be used beyond the uses listed. To receive the TDS and COA of the offered shipment, choose a grade or review alternatives, contact NAB CHEM.
Suited to shoe soles, foams and cushioning parts.
Keeps its mechanical properties in the cold.
Higher VA content gives more adhesion and better compatibility in adhesive formulations.
Processes easily by injection moulding, extrusion, foaming and compounding.
