POM
Polyoxymethylene

What Is POM (Polyacetal)?

Polyoxymethylene (POM), also called polyacetal, is an engineering plastic used in parts that need strength, stiffness, dimensional stability and low friction, such as gears, bushings, bearings, fittings, automotive parts and electrical and mechanical components.

Available Grades

Both grades are POM copolymers for injection moulding with similar base values. Switching from one to the other should still follow a check of mould conditions, shrinkage and part tolerances.
